LE CIDRE des Somms
Farmer-type cider, limited edition of 1 225 bottles
750 mL, 6,5 % alc./vol.

LE CIDRE des Somms is a first cuvée created for the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers (ACSP) - Quebec chapter. Born from a thirst to share our attachment to local know-how, this rosé cider, a natural sparkling wine from the 2020 harvest of Verger Hemmingford, offers the vibrant color of an association of talents.

This farmer-type cider - called "Pet Nat" - is the result of a slight skin maceration of a blend of apples: Geneva, Dolgo, Makamik and wild yellow apples. The fermentation, derived from indigenous yeasts, ends in the bottle.

You can smell the fresh apple and the red berries. On the palate, it is fresh, dry and light with a very small mentholated tip. The acidity is biting on the attack then, the bitterness is announced in the final with a saline side. Without the presence of residual sugar, it is ultra thirst-quenching and above all, ready to drink now, alone or to accompany a "street food" style meal of your choice.

For each bottle sold, $2 is given to the Association des Sommeliers Professionnels du Québec for the implementation of activities for members. LE CIDRE des Somms can be found in selected grocery stores, convenience stores in Quebec
